I am from a small rural village in Gaibandha, Bangladesh. I arrived to the Marie Tompkins Girl's Home in January 2021.
I have 2 sisters, 2 brothers and my father. I love drawing, painting and playing hopscotch with my friends! When I first came here I only knew a little Bangla. My native language is Santali - now I can speak and read Bangla and I am learning English too!
I miss my village, but after my mother died, my dad wanted to make sure I could get a good education. I am so happy to have so many friends, and a great school!
